A picture paints a thousand words so the saying goes.
I’m looking to create an archive of Beaver Sailing Club using visual media. I’d welcome any photos/videos that you may have of you, your children, grandparents or friends sailing, windsurfing or splashing about at Beaver. You may not think that those snaps that you took of your kids 20 years ago (or more) count as history but they are very much part of its narration.
I’m certain there will be plenty of material out there. I will scan and catalogue photos/videos and then load them on such as Flickr, hopefully with some background details and dates. I’ll do my best to create an archive that can be easily referenced and accessed. The original matter will be returned to the donor. If photos are already digital even better.
In the ‘Bygone Days’ album viewable from ‘Photos’ in the main menu there is a handful of photos and one video. It would be great to see more in there.
